Artist Showcase: Guido Bosua
Guido Bosua (1970) has been working as a photographer and visual artist since 2014. In his work the human body is often the starting point; lost in space, in motion or still, intimate, naked. Human beings in their purest and most vulnerable form.
Since 2020 he has had his studio and darkroom in Rotterdam. In his professional practice he combines his work as a dance and theatre photographer with work as an autonomous visual artist. Guido Bosua works digitally as well as analogue. He is not only concerned with capturing the images, but also with the media for the images; sometimes light boxes, sometimes wood, paper or glass, depending on what is needed to show the images to their best advantage.
